Charles EdgarLYNESIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of LYNES Charles Edgar, who passed away on 8th January 2026, aged 81 years. Formerly of Barnton, Warrington, and Nantwich, Charles was father to Tracey Heath, brother to Susan Mary Owen (nee Lynes), and uncle to Claire, Richard, and Stephen Roberts.
Charles was known for his kindness and generosity, acting as an uncle to many beyond his immediate family. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026 at Walton Lea Crematorium at 2.40 p.m.
Family flowers only, please. Donations, in lieu of flowers will kindly be received for Mid-Cheshire to MIND.
Attendees are invited to wear a touch of red for his beloved Witton Albion or blue for his treasured Everton.
Family invite those attending to join them after the service at The Partridge, Stretton, WA4 4LX to raise a pint in Charles memory.
